Dahlia Divin by Givenchy c2014

Dahlia Divin by Givenchy: launched in September 2014 and was created by Francois Demachy. Dahlia Divin is a flanker scent to the Dahlia Noir fragrance from 2011.

From Givenchy:

A fragrance with a meaningful name: Dahlia Divin. A jewel bottle enclosing a precious scent that envelops the skin in a myriad of golden threads and reveals the divinity of every woman. A legendary fragrance...

Fragrance Composition:

From Givenchy:
Created by François Demachy, composer of olfactory creations, Dahlia Divin reveals an aura with lush floral woody accents:
"To embody the Dahlia Divin woman, I created a delicate and delightful scent, balancing colored and juicy notes, slightly reminiscent of childhood", explains the perfumer.
"Then I gave the fragrance more of a solar quality to create a trail worthy of this radiant, remarkable muse."

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral woody fragrance for women, with a dominant Sambac jasmine note on a woody-chypre base.

  • Top notes: Mirabelle plum
  • Middle notes: Sambac jasmine and white flowers
  • Base notes: sandalwood, vetiver and patchouli

Bottles:

From Givenchy:
The bottle recalls the most beautiful Givenchy dresses. Everything about this fragrance speaks of Couture. Its timeless silhouette with pure lines and subtly beveled edges; the satisfying weight of solid glass.
Its stylish cap in sophisticated shades of white and beige. The label bearing the name of the fragrance in raised letters, seemingly woven from precious yarn.
And, of course, the golden thread that adorns the neck. Like a Couture jewel, it sets the tone for the liquid within, itself golden, resplendent through the glass.
A detail of ultimate refinement: the golden Givenchy logo, visible even when the bottle is viewed from the back.

Dahlia Divin is available in the following:
  • 30 ml Eau de Parfum
  • 50 ml Eau de Parfum
  • 75 ml Eau de Parfum
  • 200ml Skin Dew

The face of the perfume is the beautiful and talented American R & B singer Alicia Keys.
