Le De is classified as a ambery woody floral fragrance for women, very tenacious. It begins with a fresh flowery, spicy top punctuated with cassie absolute, followed by a delicate floral heart revealing a masterful blend of the essences of rose, jasmine, lily of the valley and violet. Resting on a subdued, ambery, mossy, powdery base with absolutes of oak moss, ambergris, vetiver and Mysore sandalwood. It was recommended to be worn during daytime.

To open the classic Givenchy crystal parfum flacon, use the following tip provided by Parfums Givenchy in 1963:
"This bottle has a thick, gripable top. The main thing is to cut off all paper and cord. The top will probably twist off easily - if not, tap lightly."
Fate of the Fragrance:
Discontinued around 1990. Reformulated and relaunched in new packaging in 2007.
